General Inquiries
What is V Bodywork & Wellness?
I am a specialized massage therapy practitioner that bridges clinical neuromuscular therapy with deep relaxation. My goal is to provide strategic, personalized care that helps you move better and feel stronger.
Do you offer mobile services or studio sessions?
I provide both! You can visit me at my studio in Canyon Lake, or I can bring my professional therapeutic equipment directly to your home for a mobile session.
What makes your massage style different?
I don't use a standard routine. Instead, I combine clinical techniques like cupping and myofascial release with intentional rest to ensure your nervous system can truly recover.
Do you accept insurance or HSA/FSA?
I do not work with insurance directly however I do accept HSA/FSA. Some HSA or FSA plans may reimburse massage therapy depending on your provider. Clients are responsible for confirming coverage with their insurance company.
Sessions
What should I expect during my first session?
I begin with a brief consultation to discuss your goals and medical history. I then perform a targeted assessment to create a personalized treatment plan for the session.
How long are the therapy sessions?
I offer 60, 90, and 120-minute sessions. Longer sessions are highly recommended for complex clinical issues or for those seeking both my therapeutic work and deep relaxation.
Will the pressure be too intense?
Pressure is always customized to your comfort level. Therapeutic doesn't always mean painful; I work within your threshold to ensure your nervous system remains relaxed and receptive.
Preparation
How to Prepare for Your Session
What should I wear?
Comfort is key. For in-studio sessions, most clients undress to their level of comfort; you will be professionally draped by me at all times. For stretch sessions, please wear loose or athletic clothing for your sessions.
Should I eat before my massage?
I recommend a light snack rather than a heavy meal. Staying hydrated is essential before and after your treatment to help your muscles recover and integration of my manual work.
When should I arrive?
Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to settle in and complete any necessary intake forms. For mobile services, simply ensure a quiet space is ready for me to set up my equipment.

Additional FAQ's
Is massage good for chronic back pain?
Massage therapy can help reduce muscle tension, improve circulation, and restore mobility that may contribute to chronic back discomfort. Techniques such as deep tissue massage, neuromuscular therapy, and myofascial release are often used to address muscular patterns that develop from posture, repetitive movement, or prolonged sitting.
For many clients, massage works best as part of a consistent maintenance routine, especially when combined with stretching, strengthening, or other supportive care.
Will one massage fix my pain?
Massage can provide significant relief, but long-standing tension patterns usually require multiple sessions and consistent care. The first appointment often focuses on assessment and beginning the release process, while follow-up treatments help create longer-lasting results.
Why might I feel sore after a massage?
Some soreness can occur after deeper therapeutic work as the muscles respond to increased circulation and release of tension. This sensation is usually temporary and similar to post-workout soreness, lasting about 24–48 hours.
Hydration, gentle movement, and light stretching can help reduce this.
